1 Who this covers

The data controller is Ss96 Casino Entertainment Ltd., operator of ss96.casino and holder of a Malta Gaming Authority licence. This policy applies to visitors to the website and to registered account holders. It sits alongside our Terms & Conditions and Cookies Policy.

2 Data we collect

  • Identity and contact — name, date of birth, address, email, phone.
  • Verification — copies of ID, proof of address, and source-of-funds evidence where required by law.
  • Financial — deposits, withdrawals, payment method details and transaction history.
  • Gameplay — games played, stakes, bonuses claimed, session times and responsible-gaming settings.
  • Technical — IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed.
  • Support — the content of chats, emails and calls with our team.

3 How we collect it

Most data comes directly from you at registration, at the cashier and during play. Technical data is collected automatically through cookies and server logs. Verification and fraud-screening data may also come from identity-check and payment providers acting for us.

4 Why we use it

We process personal data to open and run your account and pay out winnings (to perform our contract with you); to verify age and identity, prevent fraud and money laundering, and meet licence conditions (to comply with legal obligations); to provide support, secure the platform and improve the service (our legitimate interests); and to send marketing only where you have opted in (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

5 Cookies

The site uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in and secure, plus optional analytics and marketing cookies you can accept or decline from the cookie banner. The categories, purposes and lifespans are listed in full in the Cookies Policy.

6 Who we share with

We share data only as needed with: game studios and platform providers that deliver the games; payment processors and banks; identity-verification, fraud and anti-money-laundering services; IT, hosting and customer-support vendors under contract; and regulators, auditors or law-enforcement bodies where we are legally required. We do not sell personal data.

7 Storage & transfers

Data is stored on servers within the European Economic Area. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision or on standard contractual clauses to keep the protection at an equivalent level.

8 How long we keep it

Account and transaction records are kept for the life of the account and then for the period regulators require after closure — generally five years for anti-money-laundering records. Support logs are kept up to 24 months. Marketing preferences are kept until you change them.

9 Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or port your data, or to restrict or object to certain processing. Some data must be retained to meet legal duties even if you ask for deletion. Send requests through the contact channels; we respond within one month. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta or to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
